Mamimi Samejima

Mamimi Samejima is a 17-year-old high school girl who speaks with a distinctive manner, adding "ssu" at the end of her sentences. She is a smoker and smokes hand-rolled cigarettes with "NEVER KNOWS BEST" written on them. She was dating Task, Naota Nandaba’s older brother, but she was heartbroken when Task found a new girlfriend while studying abroad. As a result, she exhibits self-destructive behavior and often bothers Naota under the pretense of "playing around." Due to her somewhat unusual personality, she harbors loneliness and suffers severe bullying from her classmates, which leads her to set fire to an elementary school. Her encounter with Task was also triggered by this arson incident. Throughout the story, her underwear frequently comes off, and she has a hobby of photography. In the second episode, she uses an Olympus camera, and she carries a different camera in each episode.
