Character Setting

Edit

As the Aeon representing the Path of Remembrance, Fuli records happenings of the universe to prepare for the rebirth after the destruction.

No one knows of Fuli’s birth or origins. Although THEY are present in almost every significant event of the universe, THEY rarely manifest in front of mortals.

Type: Aeon

Status: Yet to be born

Factions:

• Garden of Recollection

• The Cremators

• Pure Children of Anāsrava

World: Eden of Blessed Insight

Fuli manifests as a humanoid figure carved out of a reflective crystal material wearing a mianguan.

Eden of Blessed Insight

The Eden of Blessed Insight, also known as the Pure Land of Recollection, is the realm of Fuli. In the tales whispered among the Memokeepers, Fuli will blend the most luminous and lavish memories into the Eden of Blessed Insight, and they shall serve to reshape the entirety of the world after its annihilation. This realm has also shown a capability to see the future.

Dreamscape

When both the paths of Remembrance and Enigmata intertwine, the place known as the Dreamscape comes into existence.

Memokeepers

Memokeepers from the Garden of Recollection are dedicated to preserving and sharing memories. Enlightened by their master Fuli, Memokeepers shed their mortal flesh and live on as memetic entities. With this unique gift from Fuli, they can freely traverse between worlds, unconstrained by physical limits.

Pure Children of Anāsrava

Fragments of Fuli's divine corpus took the form of various women from very different birthplaces, races, identities and life experiences, but all with an innate connection to the Path of Remembrance. They are regarded as special Emanators of Remembrance who can potentially become Fuli at the end of time.

At some point, Fuli's divine corpus shattered, and several women were born who had all walked the Path of Remembrance. These women, known as the Pure Children of Anāsrava, are Emanators of Remembrance. Other speculations include that they are manifestations of Fuli, each representing a different facet of THEIR memories of THEMSELF.

Despite THEIR shattering, Fuli is not regarded as a fallen Aeon, contrary to the rumors and claims propagated by the Cremators, who assert that Fuli fell and that the Garden of Recollection usurped THEIR divine authority over the Path of Remembrance. This is because masterless Paths do not exhibit tidal energy fluctuations, and fallen Aeons no longer gaze upon any Pathstrider — criteria that Fuli does not fulfill.

After interfacing with Nous, Herta uncovers the truth about Fuli. In reality, Fuli has not yet been born; THEY will only ascend at the end of time in order to fulfill THEIR divine duty of recreating the universe once it reaches its Finality. At the moment of ascension, THEIR memory stretches backward through time, becoming the "Fuli" known in the past. Fuli's crystalline form is merely an empty shell, a secret the Garden of Recollection has long concealed. In the present, it remains uncertain who will ultimately become Fuli, but THEY will nonetheless be born from among the Pure Children of Anāsrava.

Swarm Disaster

Some people claim that Fuli ascended during the conflict between Tayzzyronth and Oroboros in the Swarm Disaster, in order to preserve the moment of the stars' demise. However, Herta considers this claim may have been fabricated by History Fictionologists. Furthermore, Memory Bubbles existed before the Swarm Disaster, which suggests that the Garden of Recollection was already active at that time. This would require the existence of Fuli before the Swarm Disaster.

Borderstar Trade War

During Louis Fleming's retirement speech, Fuli manifested in the crowd, and due to THEIR presence, the Candelagraphos was able to note three revelations coming from Nous, Terminus, and Mythus.

Present

When March 7th wished to learn about her past, the Messenger prevented her from doing so when she tried to go to Fu Xuan and use the Matrix of Prescience Ultima for help. According to the Messenger, THEY are interfering in order to protect her.

Amphoreus

Traveling backwards through Amphorus's history, the Pure Child of Anāsrava known as Cyrene created numerous false instances of Fuli in order to close causality and prevent the return of Irontomb.

The following events are all falsely attributed to Fuli:

• Fuli gazed upon Amphoreus when Cyrene and Phainon deleted "Time" from The Amphoreus Experiment, causing every Cyrene that'll be born in the next cycle to gain the power to reset time.

• After gaining an audience with the Titan Oronyx, the Titan realized that the Trailblazer could help them discover lost memories and find their "Mother," taking an interest in them. During the process, Fuli gazed upon the Trailblazer while they were reliving their memories. This was later revealed to have stabilized the Trailblazer's form, preventing them from dying in the meantime.

• Trailblazer, accompanied by Dan Heng, enters the Great Tomb of the Nameless Titan. After restoring all the records preserved by Cyrene, they uncover the truth behind Fuli's involvement in the fate of Amphoreus. According to Evernight, Fuli had gazed upon Cyrene, planting a seed of false hope in her heart — leading her to believe that Amphoreus still had a chance to escape its destined ruin. In devotion to that hope, Cyrene recorded the memories of Amphoreus for Fuli, believing that THEY would one day save the world.

• Gazing upon Cyrene following Irontomb's destruction of the universe, assisting her in recreating the entire universe with the help of the Trailblaze.

Related Entry — The Remembrance

...There are plenty of mysterious Aeons in the universe, and Fuli is particularly enigmatic. Nobody in the entire Genius Society and the IPC and the Intelligentsia Guild knows when THEY were even born. The Aeon of Remembrance had quietly appeared in the annals of the universe as if THEY were meant to be here, as if THEY had altered everyone's memory. Fuli rarely presents THEMSELF before mortals. According to video evidence, THEY visually look like a humanoid figure carved out of crystal, with indistinguishable facial features and wearing a diadem with a curtain of pearls covering THEIR face. The appearance of Fuli the Remembrance always signals an important event is about to happen, but I think maybe the cause and effect should be flipped — Perhaps Fuli only shows up to record that event in the universe's memories...?

...Fortunately, the one time that Fuli's arrival was recorded was the last public appearance of Louis Fleming, the founder and lifetime honorable Board member of the Interastral Peace Corporation. Therefore, the IPC's archives preserved the complete recording of the Aeon's manifestation from the start to the end. Old Fleming was giving a speech at the time and declaring he was going to permanently retire from all official and unofficial events. Given how old he was, he was probably tired of living. But just as he was finishing the speech, there was suddenly a rainbow-colored light that threw everyone into disarray. Like a wraith that appeared in thin air, Fuli the Remembrance had condensed into being before Louis Fleming. The human representing wealth and the Aeon representing remembrance briefly locked eyes with each other. Maybe they exchanged some words, or maybe they didn't — The recording didn't manage to catch that. Fuli then disappeared, and Louis Fleming turned and walked off the stage, never to be seen again. Seriously, out of everyone who had faced an Aeon, that old man was the calmest I've seen. Even Screwllum's gears squeaked when he saw Nous...

...Fuli, THEY are really hard to fathom. I doubt that the birth of the Remembrance is related to that widespread and vast fall of the stars. That final wailing and screams of countless lives before their demise shook me to the core. Alas, it was all the doing of Oroboros the Voracity! To be honest, everyone thought THEY were just a clumsy Leviathan, like how Qlipoth was thought to be an oversized statue. Who would have guessed that THEIR body has multiple forms? I suspect that there is a dimension unknown to humanity under the dark tides that gave birth to THEM. Oh, and THEIR abdomen, too — it is said that no species can resist the lantern-like "bait" on Oroboros's body, and that countless galaxies are already in THEIR stomach, with only the "memories" of those that perished being left behind thanks to Fuli...

In comparative mythology, sky father is a term for a recurring concept in polytheistic religions of a sky god who is addressed as a "father", often the father of a pantheon and is often either a reigning or former King of the Gods.

浮黎 Fúlí is a supreme deity proposed by the Shenxiao sect of Taoism in the late Northern Song dynasty.
