Kei Shinomiya

Kei is a young teenage boy with light short hair, cut evenly around his head in a bob cut. In the official art his hair was hinted to be pink, and his eyes green. In the child tomodachi game, he wears his high school uniform. He is very short.

His social status and upbringing are all average.

However, he is a "genius" that could do anything he tried. He has one weakness, in that he is always bored, because he can do anything. He joined the games just to kill time.

Kei is noted by Yuuichi and himself to never do meaningless things, meaning every action he takes has a meaning. He gets very upset whenever somebody calls him short, something that he may be insecure about. At first, Kei comes off as the innocent underling to his team's 'captain', but in reality he is the one pulling the strings. He is very smart, and very arrogant.

Often times he overreacts to things in a fake manner, pretending to be very upset or very happy. He is an expert at lying and manipulating, and a very good actor. Though, even if he acts cheeky he's very kind - Something that is seen as his biggest strength but also another of his weakness.

He used to pick fights a lot, but started "behaving a bit" after an incident around middle school with Banri.

The latter chided Kei that he labels others as idiots too fast and too much. That is why he makes more enemies than necessary. Banri told him to hold himself back a bit and look closely at others. If he does, he should be able to become even stronger. When asked by Kei on what happens if the former goes against a "real idiot", Banri was skeptical of their existence. However, he told Kei to "crush them with all his strength".

He joined the high school under Banri's recommendation. He also later joined the basketball sports club due to the people there, along with the other members of Group K.

Despite his small stature, he is secretly a black belt in both Karate and Judo
