Chappy

Chappy, the pet of Vignette April Tsukinose, is a gigantic magical beast with the ability to breathe massive flames. Although he appears ferocious, he is actually very gentle and is particularly obedient to Vignette's commands. Chappy was found by Vignette when he was a baby and was cherished and raised in her home. After Vignette went to the human world, her parents took care of him, during which time he grew so large that he could no longer fit through the front door. Eventually, he had to break the door to get outside.

When Chappy reunited with Vignette, she took him out for a walk, but he was so energetic that he ran incredibly fast, which troubled Vignette. Upon their reunion, Vignette initially believed Chappy was a wild beast, but she was shocked to learn from her mother that he was called "Chappy," to the point of falling over in surprise. When her mother suggested taking Chappy for a walk, Vignette was so startled that she blurted out that he might eat her.
