In the anime, the costume is even bolder with less fabric around the chest.

Mihono Bourbon appears as a member of Team N led by Narita Taishin.

She is the first runner in the BNW relay race.

Season 2

She is shown as a genius who works harder than anyone else.

She quietly trains every day and becomes known in her school for her strict lifestyle.

Her trainer, Master Kurokuma, helps her try to win the Triple Crown. She wins two crowns but loses the final one to Rice Shower.

After the race, she is injured and cannot race in front anymore. She helps encourage Rice not to give up, showing more emotions than normal.

Season 3

Mihono Bourbon appears as a special coach for Kitasan Black’s tough training camp.

She also brings Rice Shower along as the cooking leader.

She wears her Master’s jacket over her school tracksuit.

She explains her feelings about not reaching her dream and wants others to aim high.

The Real Mihono Bourbon

The real Mihono Bourbon was a chestnut colt born in 1989.

He won the Satsuki Shou (Japanese 2000 Guineas) and the Japanese Derby (Tokyo Yushun), becoming a famous two-time undefeated Classic winner.

Despite being a short-distance horse by breeding, his trainer pushed him through tough hill training so he could run long distances.

He was known for his strong body and very strict training, earning nicknames like "Child of the Hill Course" and "Chestnut Bullet Train."

He just missed winning the Triple Crown, losing the final race to Rice Shower.

After retiring, he became a stud and lived out his days in peace.
