The Incident with Dr. Love

During a mission to apprehend Dr. Love along with Kokonose Chuuta, Veronica initially doubts Chuuta's abilities, viewing him as a burden based on Rain Brick’s comments.

However, Chuuta's actions directly contribute to resolving the case, earning her respect and trust as equals within the same class of recruits.

The Kushtohian Crisis

While pursuing Dr. Love, Veronica is severely injured when Nina is manipulated by the true culprit.

Dr. Love saves her life but must use artificial organs, which deeply upsets Veronica as she believes her Kushtohian pure bloodline to be tarnished.

She struggles with this identity crisis but gradually learns to accept herself beyond her heritage.

School Transfer and New Bonds

Following the resolution of those events, Veronica, Nina, and Dr. Love all transfer into Kokonose and Misuzu's school and class.
