Galland of "Truth." An elderly figure with an appearance resembling armor, extremely tall, wielding a large scythe. One of the veterans among the Ten Commandments. At 991 years old, he is quite elderly for a demon, whose average lifespan is around 1000 years.

He has a personality like a kindly old man, enjoying battle with a warrior's spirit, yet shows no interest in the weak, mercilessly dispatching them in an instant. While he desires a rematch with Meliodas at full strength, he also shows impulsive thinking, reacting strongly to the humiliation of defeat. He is quite fond of alcohol.

He engages in battle with Meliodas and his group in Camelot, overwhelmingly dominating them. He questions how Fraudrin easily defeated them and, just as he was about to head back, encounters Diane, who had her memory erased. He is stopped by Matrona and unable to finish her off. Later, he is utterly defeated by Meliodas, who has regained his true power, and vows to defeat him.

Alongside Melascula, he battles Ban, Jericho, and Elaine in the thief city of Ravens. After a back-and-forth struggle, when facing Escanor in a one-on-one duel, he is intimidated by Escanor's power level, which skyrocketed due to his magic, and breaks his promise not to flee, resulting in his petrification by his own commandment. He remains conscious but immobile until Estarossa arrives to retrieve the commandment and shatters his body, leading to his death.

Magic: "Critical Over"

A simple ability that converts his magic power directly into physical strength. When fully converted, he transforms into a sinister form with countless spikes. According to Melascula, Galland's power level in this state reaches 40000.

A technique where he repeatedly and rapidly thrusts and crushes with his large scythe.

A technique where he swings his large scythe, slashing the surroundings.

A technique where he cleaves the enemy in two with his large scythe, with enough force to deeply cut the ground.
