Atsushi

Atsushi is a neighborhood boy who often plays in the same park that Reina Aharen and Shōta Raidō visit.

Among the three elementary school boys who gather there, he naturally takes on the role of the leader.

He is strongly influenced by Reina after seeing her casually spinning a hand spinner in the park.

From that moment, he becomes devoted to her, treating her as a master figure.

Atsushi has a straightforward and somewhat brash personality, especially toward those he is close to.

He tends to speak and act without overthinking, which makes him honest but also a bit insensitive.

He prides himself on being Reina Aharen’s "number one disciple."

Because of this pride, he can be competitive and possessive about his position.

His appearance is marked by a hat and bandages, which have become his visual trademarks.

These features give him a slightly scrappy, rough-and-tumble impression fitting for a park kid leader.

Relationship with Reina Aharen

Atsushi idolizes Reina Aharen and calls her "Ahao," a grandiose title echoing a king-like status.

He sees her as an overwhelming presence after witnessing her mastery of the hand spinner.

He declares himself her "first disciple" and takes this status very seriously.

Because of this, he sometimes acts like a self-appointed guardian or representative of Reina in front of others.

Relationship with Shōta Raidō

Atsushi recognizes Shōta Raidō as someone who is close to Reina Aharen.

Seeing Raidō as another disciple, he occasionally treats him as an "older disciple" or "senior disciple."

From Atsushi’s point of view, there is a kind of disciple hierarchy surrounding Reina.

This leads him to interact with Raidō using a slightly respectful yet competitive attitude.

Relationship with Futaba

Atsushi has a close childhood friend named Futaba, who calls him "Akkun."

They have known each other for a long time and often spend time together.

Futaba secretly harbors romantic feelings for Atsushi.

However, he remains completely oblivious to her crush and frequently treats her in a dismissive or rough manner.

Despite his brusque attitude, their interactions show a natural familiarity that only childhood friends share.

Within "Aharen-san Is Indecipherable," Atsushi serves as a comic-relief side character who expands the world beyond the main high school cast.
