Duke de Giesch

The French nobleman, Roland de Guiche, is a person of distinguished bearing worthy of his name. As Chief Auditor of Accounts, he enjoys the deep trust of the king and is a powerful figure who rules over nearly the entire Bonage region. Although he is 43 years old, he has a passionate side with a strong interest in young women, and he showed great enthusiasm for marrying Charlotte de Polignac, whom he met through the recommendation of Madame de Polignac. However, after Charlotte de Polignac took her own life, he eagerly awaited marriage to her older sister, Rosalie Lamorliere, but this hope was not fulfilled. Notably, Roland de Guiche himself appears only in the anime version of the story, while in the original work, his name is only mentioned in passing. Additionally, though his name is borrowed from the real Duke de Giesch, the character portrayed in this work is a completely different person.
