Warumono-san

The protagonist of this work. An executive of an evil organization invading Earth. The name "Warumono-san" is only used for convenience and is never called that in the story; his real name is unknown. His subordinates call him "General."

When working, he slicks his hair back, but on his days off, he lets his hair down, with his bangs covering his eyes. Although usually hidden under his clothes, he has claw-like tattoos on his upper body.

He lives in an apartment in a certain city on Earth and commutes to the evil organization's base. He values his days off and makes sure to avoid any work-related matters during them. He extremely dislikes having his days off disrupted and will avoid battles with rangers he encounters in the city, ignoring his subordinates and colleagues to such an extent.

Although he is in a position to launch invasions, he has enough conscience to help an elderly person struggling with stairs. However, he can become emotionally unstable at times, such as deciding to destroy humanity just because he got the spiciness of curry wrong, only to calm down immediately after watching a panda program on TV.

He is fond of pandas and, depending on his mood, may even go directly to the zoo to see them. Whenever he takes action, pandas are usually involved in some way.

According to Kenjiro Tsuda, he is a character whose "gap between on and off is enjoyable," and "his sudden kindness when you least expect it is charming."

According to Shintaro Asanuma, he envies Warumono-san's way of spending his days off, where he "occasionally explodes with emotion but is generally calm, with time flowing slowly," and admires his lifestyle.
