Chizuru Yoshida

A classmate and best friend of Sawako.

Nickname is "Chizu". She is very emotional and cries even more easily than Sawako. She is hot-blooded and strong in fights. She often speaks her mind without thinking. She is very insensitive and often fails to notice the subtleties of others' emotions, which leads to her not being able to follow conversations. She loves ramen so much that she wrote "ramen" as her first choice in a career survey. Her favorite place is "Tetsuryuken," a ramen shop run by Ryu's father, where she also works part-time.

She was initially scared of Sawako but soon became close friends with her.

Since childhood, Ryu had feelings for her, but she was completely unaware and was in love with Ryu's brother, Toru. However, when Chizuru was in her first year, Toru got married, ending her crush.

During a school trip, Ryu confessed to her, but she rejected him, confused about her own feelings. Eventually, she realized her romantic feelings for Ryu and confessed to him on her 18th birthday. After graduating from high school, she worked at Tetsuryuken and promised to run the shop together when Ryu returned.
