Kuniko Shigyo serves as the leader of the national vigilante group from Higashimurayama, known as the Kita-Tama Dangers. Feared and respected, she is often called the "Empress of Weapons" for her unrivaled skill with arms.
Kuniko is a wandering mercenary, openly stating that she is employed by the Kita-Tama Dangers rather than truly belonging to them. Because of this, she does not develop a strong sense of camaraderie with the other members of her group.
Her motorcycle closely resembles the iconic bike from the film "Easy Rider," showcasing both her bold style and individuality. She also takes pride in her vast collection of weapons taken from her victories, and she is especially interested in acquiring Nozomi Moritomo’s Matcha Green battle suit.
As a child, Kuniko admired heroes and longed to become one herself. Eventually, she realized that the heroes she idolized did not truly exist in the real world. Undeterred, she committed herself to become a hero in her own way, determined to "protect everyone from bad people." She trained daily, sharpening her abilities, and during this time she came into possession of a mysterious "stone."
During the Great Tokyo Battle, she single-handedly faced vigilante groups from across the country, growing increasingly drawn to the thrill of combat. This fascination caused her to lose sight of her original ideals, seeking out fights rather than remembering her mission. It was only after being confronted by Masami Utoku that she was reminded of her true purpose.
While hospitalized and having lost her stone, Kuniko fell into a slump. However, upon learning that Yukari Otonashi had been kidnapped by Shima Ishizukuri and the Stones, she snapped into action. Alongside Masami Utoku, and at the request of Haruka Misono, she set out for Hiroshima to help.
Kuniko Shigyo is a unique force—fierce, complex, and endlessly intriguing as she treads the line between a longing for heroism and the thrill of conflict.
