Zabuton has a torso shaped like a floor cushion, which inspired the name at first glance by Hiraku Machio. The imposing spider form often startles first-time visitors.

Calm, mild, and unaggressive, Zabuton is approachable despite a fearsome appearance. Zabuton enjoys creating and wearing flashy clothing and delights in those who appreciate handmade textiles.

In late autumn of the first year, Kuro Three and Kuro Four brought Zabuton from the forest after noticing Hiraku Machio struggling with winter preparations. On the spot, Zabuton made a handkerchief in about five minutes, impressing Hiraku with both speed and quality.

Recognized for exceptional sewing, high intelligence, and a gentle demeanor, Zabuton began living alongside Hiraku. Zabuton’s home is in the upper part of the Great Tree.

After Great Tree Village formed, Zabuton became the representative of the Demon Spiders. The name “Zabuton” was given by Hiraku based on the first impression at their meeting.

Zabuton is a master of sewing, capable of producing high-quality items with remarkable speed. Communication is nonverbal, typically by raising one leg high to convey intent.

Zabuton possesses formidable combat power, enough to defeat Raimeiren, a highly capable member of the God-Era Dragon clan. Yoko refers to Zabuton as the “Queen of Spiders.”
