Nasa Yuzaki

The protagonist of the story. Height is 169.5 cm (just shy of 170 cm). Born on May 5th, blood type A, and a Taurus. He fell in love with Tsukasa at first sight and, despite being seriously injured in a traffic accident, proposed to her. She replied, "If you marry me, I'll date you," to which he immediately agreed. However, Nasa lost consciousness afterward (though he actually continued to converse with Tsukasa before losing consciousness, but temporarily lost that memory due to the injury) and was hospitalized. Unable to meet Tsukasa again, he lost the motivation to attend high school and spent his days working part-time jobs in customer service, hoping to meet as many people as possible and reunite with Tsukasa. On his 18th birthday, Tsukasa visited him, and he immediately submitted a marriage registration simply because she was "so cute," officially becoming a couple without knowing much about each other. Tsukasa calls him "husband" or "Nasa-kun."

While living alone in an apartment in Shibuya and juggling various part-time jobs, he no longer needed to work in customer service after reuniting with Tsukasa. He now primarily works from home, doing programming and other tasks. He is seen as highly multitasking by Tsukasa and others, as he can answer questions on TV quiz shows without stopping his work. When he becomes engrossed in something, he can't stop until he reaches his limit, leading Tsukasa to think his "brakes are broken." In his student days, he had perfect grades and was athletic, but since switching to desk work, his outings have decreased, and his physical strength has significantly declined. He obtained a regular driver's license in volume 18.

His former homeroom teacher, Naoko Yanagi, advised him to obtain a high school diploma and pursue university or employment for a stable future, but he expressed a desire to cherish his time with Tsukasa for now.

Personality and Behavior

He is positive and has high communication skills. He genuinely loves Tsukasa and believes she is the cutest in the universe. He has a typical teenage boy side, such as secretly smelling Tsukasa's clothes, imagining staying at a cheap hotel together, and taking numerous photos of her. While proactive in romance, he is inexperienced and blushes every time he hugs or kisses Tsukasa. On the other hand, he is quite honest about his desires and has openly told Tsukasa several times that he wants to see her in her school uniform, underwear, or changing clothes, to which Tsukasa, though embarrassed, has responded either on the spot or with "someday."

Strengths and Weaknesses

Due to a complex about his name, which reads "Nasa" as "Hoshizora," he has strived to become someone greater than NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and has dedicated himself to studying, holding a record of consecutive first-place rankings in national mock exams and achieving top grades in all subjects. His catchphrase is "The man who will reach the speed of light faster than NASA." His LINE profile and icon image are of his father, John von Neumann, the inventor of the computer. Although his highest education is middle school, he finds high school textbooks "easy" and "simple," and his exceptional academic ability is recognized by those around him.

He is knowledgeable and skilled enough to repair broken old computers and vacuum cleaners himself and install air conditioners. He also possesses management know-how and technical skills, having turned around the financially struggling Arisugawa family's bathhouse by reforming management and improving and modifying the bath boiler and cleaning tools, leading to profitability. He is described by Kaname as "the reincarnation of Tony Stark."

However, he is not perceptive about delicacy or others' romantic feelings, has hardly watched movies or TV, has never properly listened to music, and has barely played games, showing a complete lack of knowledge about things he is not interested in, including general common sense. For example, he didn't know about laundry nets and only ate hot pot every day, considering only nutrition and cost, showing a significant disconnect from others' sensibilities. As a result, he is often lamented as "a kid who can study, but..."

On the other hand, he boasts that "it's okay if the house burns down" because he keeps valuables in a safe deposit box and important internet data in the cloud. He is thorough in preliminary research and preparation when going out with Tsukasa, demonstrating high crisis management skills.
