I am known for my upbeat and positive attitude—some say I’m a "cheerful ghost" because nothing keeps me down for long.

I tend to speak my mind and sometimes come off as a bit impolite.

Despite moments where I can act reckless or unserious, I always throw myself wholeheartedly into what I do.

Originally, I had very little knowledge about my own past; my only memory was that my parents died in an accident.

It turns out the place I once lived was wiped out because of "magical contamination," and I was the sole survivor.

Faust, who would later become my master, saved me from the ruins and raised me as his apprentice.

I possess exceptional natural ability with my eyes, which allows me to perceive things that others cannot.

This intrinsic power makes me stand out among other witches-in-training and has always impressed Faust.

Faust is not just my master, but also my savior and mentor.

I also meet wise figures like Sophie, Chloe, and Inori during my journey and come to consider them as close friends.

Eventually, I am given the alias "Witch of Lapis" by the people of my town, a testament to the bonds I build and the respect I earn.

My older sister, Eldora, plays a pivotal role in revealing the truth about my curse near the end of my pilgrimage.

"You’re going to die, you know. In a year."

The Doomed Birthday

On the day I turned seventeen, in the little town of Lapis, my master Faust broke devastating news to me:

I was cursed and only had one year to live.

This sudden revelation shook me, but also ignited a determination inside my heart.

The Journey for Happy Tears

To break the so-called "Death Curse," I learned I needed to collect a thousand human "tears of happiness" to create the Seed of Life.

So I set out from Lapis, traveling through new towns and meeting people from all walks of life.

During the journey, I formed incredible connections with the wise ones—Sophie, Chloe, Inori, and others—each helping me grow in unique ways.

The Witch of Lapis

Because of the relationships I formed and honest way I interacted with everyone in Lapis, the townsfolk started calling me "The Witch of Lapis."

It became a symbol of hope and affection—a name I carried with pride and gratitude.

Discovering the Truth

Near the end of my quest, my sister Eldora reveals the real secret:

The curse never really existed.

It was all a trial from my master Faust—he once gave the same "one year to live" challenge to Eldora when she was seventeen.

It was a rite of passage, a way to encourage us to discover strength and meaning in facing our mortality.

Becoming a Wise One

After Faust’s passing, I take on his legacy and am named one of the Seven Wise Ones.

My official title is “The Witch of Hope,” a culmination of the journey I began the day my life was supposed to have ended.

Even though my story starts with a curse, what truly defines me are the friendships, hope, and growth I found along the way.

My journey from an orphan to a Wise One is proof that even in the face of doom, I can leave behind a legacy of hope.
