Higashiwa

The section chief is a tough-looking person who works in the Headquarters Investigation Division 2 and always wears sunglasses. He is Higashiwa, a former police sergeant at the prefectural police and a同期 (同期: colleague who joined at the same time) of Shiotani. For a specific reason, one of his eyes is an artificial eye. His name was originally pronounced "Toiwa," but it was later changed to "Higashiwa."
