In the anime adaptation, she takes revenge on Tamotsu, who killed her husband, using "Shiryuu" and subsequently becomes possessed by it. However, upon about to attack a woman, she notices the woman's baby, regains her senses, gives birth to Gai Ogata in the mountains, and then hangs herself to commit suicide.
