Ashaf

One of the protagonists of the story. A magician from the Demon Sound Cult. He has a tall stature and slicked-back appearance, and is often seen smoking. He carries the coffin in which Guideau's true form is sealed on his back. While on a mission to find and bring back a witch, he encounters Guideau, and due to their shared goal of searching for a witch, they continue to act together. In contrast to Guideau, he is gentle and gentlemanly, but is often perceived as somewhat suspicious. He remains calm and composed in any situation and is skilled in negotiation, which is fitting for his role in scouting witches. He has a deep knowledge of magic and witches, and his abilities as a magician are top-notch. Although he claims he is not a combatant in direct magical battles with witches, he can scout a wide area through the vision of his familiar crow, set up defensive barriers, and perform various tasks such as healing and detoxification. He particularly prides himself on his skills in dispelling magic, claiming to surpass even witches in this regard.
