Lei Yanmei, an assassin for Takeru Shinoyama and a member of the Black Thunder clan, is the older sister of Koyū Azuma. She has a severe brother complex and still adores her brother, who was abandoned by their family. In the past, when a decision was made that would leave Koyū Azuma permanently incapacitated, she even attempted to kill their father, but was stopped by Rozan Shinoyama. To this day, she prioritizes her brother above all else and is prepared to eliminate anyone who might bring harm to Koyū Azuma.

Later, Lei Yanmei encounters Majiri Agakura, the person who took her brother's limbs. Although at first Lei Yanmei is ready for a fight out of sisterly pride, as she is grateful that, thanks to Majiri Agakura, her brother was set free from his old family, the two eventually reach an understanding. In the end, they form an alliance as fellow older sisters who both love their adorable younger brothers.
