Sigma Redwing is a mysterious phantom thief who appears from episode 8 onward in *Tousouchuu: Great Mission*. At 17 years old, he uses a unique spirit-based trigger called "Wraith" that lets him stretch his aura to grab distant items or swing through the city like a superhero. Wearing a mask in daily life, Sigma operates as "Phantom Thief Apollon," targeting wealthy households in the White Area and secretly donating the loot to charities in the Gray Area. Though he has a big ego and often says "Even my shadow can't be caught," he is just as agile as Sawyer Tomura and skilled with a sword, even fighting epic swordmasters. Initially cold and critical towards others, Sigma gradually warms up and often ends up working alongside Sawyer, although their rivalry remains fierce and full of banter.
Sigma usually wears a mask to hide his identity as Phantom Thief Apollon.
He wears stylish, tight-fitting outfits, sometimes described as a blue and black catsuit in later stages.
He has striking violet eyes and is considered especially handsome.
Sigma keeps his mask on almost all the time except for some special occasions.
Sigma is cool and very self-confident, sometimes to the point of arrogance.
He is quiet, usually keeping to himself and not talking much unless needed.
He values his own skills highly, believing few can ever catch him.
Despite being a loner, he helps those in need and has a strong sense of justice.
Sigma is sharp, observant, and always quick-thinking, especially when escaping tricky situations.
Sigma appears mysteriously before Sawyer and proves to be even more agile than him, using wings and gadgets.
He identifies himself as "Phantom Thief Apollon," a modern-day Robin Hood.
He steals from the rich in the White Area and donates to the needy in the Gray Area, always remaining anonymous.
Sigma enters the "Great Mission" in Owari Castle with a hidden goal: to claim "the greatest treasure of the game."
After initially being critical of Sawyer, he gains respect for him and eventually helps both him and other contestants in challenging missions.
Sigma eventually reveals his face around episode 26, showing his violet eyes and stunning looks that even captivate his enemies.
Sigma’s power is his Cry Trigger, "Wraith," which lets him stretch his aura-arm to grab objects from afar or swing through urban landscapes like Spider-Man.
He is equal in agility and parkour to Sawyer.
Sigma is excellent with a sword and can duel famous swordmasters equally.
He combines parkour, gadgets, and strategy to escape tight police cordons or avoid Hunters.
In episode 77, his Wraith is upgraded to allow aura extensions from both hands.
He is Sawyer Tomura’s main rival, and while they argue a lot, they also work together during tough missions.
Sigma eventually grows close to Sawyer’s younger brother Hal after partnering during a revival mission.
He interacts often with Luna Nishinotouin, who calls their constant pairing a “fated connection.”
He saves and later teams up with the journalist Maika Sonjo during the America stage.
