Mai Zenin

A second-year student at the Kyoto school of Jujutsu High, she is the twin sister of Maki. A Grade 3 sorcerer. She is 170 cm tall. Due to her technique (officially, she is not supposed to have one), she can only channel cursed energy into weapons like guns to fire them. She looks down on Maki, who has no cursed energy, and at the same time, resents having to work hard as a sorcerer, which she never wanted to be because of her sister. In contrast to Maki, she has a sarcastic and cynical personality, openly insulting Itadori, who was believed to be dead, towards Fushiguro and Kugisaki. In the anime, she receives a ticket from Toudou and shakes hands with Takada-chan, feeling that it wasn't bad.

She uses a technique called "Construction Technique" to create objects from nothing. She favors using a pistol, and uses a revolver to bluff about the number of bullets, deceiving the enemy into thinking she has used them all, then creating more bullets with the Construction Technique to catch the enemy off guard. However, this technique consumes a lot of cursed energy and puts a significant strain on her body, limiting Mai to creating only one bullet per day.

After the Shibuya Incident, she went to the Zenin family home where she was attacked by her father Ougi and was critically injured. She created a replica of the Shakujo Sword in exchange for her own life, which she bestowed upon Maki before she died.
