The man who lived in Room 103 for only one month was a detective. He was hired to search for Kotaro Satо̄, but because of Kotaro Satо̄'s experiences with childhood abuse, the detective decided that he should not reveal Kotaro Satо̄'s real address to his father and instead provided a false address. After the assignment was completed, he left the apartment.
