Tisalia is a young centaur noblewoman with the lower body of a horse and the bearing of a stage actor.

She is known for her rich blonde hair styled in a bun, turquoise-like eyes, black coat, and a fuller bust than the average centaur.

She is the daughter of Eftal and Kimmeria.

As the successor to Scythia Transport, she comes from a distinguished family with both commercial success and martial pride.

Tisalia is also a gladiator of the Third Rank in the Lindworm Grand Arena.

She dreams of entering the hall of fame so that her name will be engraved forever on the arena's monument.

Her personal attendants are Kay Arte and Lorna Arte, whom she regularly keeps by her side.

She is very much a sheltered young lady, but also a determined warrior who wants to uphold her family's martial honor.

Her voice carries clearly, and together with her careful grooming, she gives off an impression much like a stage performer.

According to the author, she was originally planned as the main heroine and as a rival figure to Saphentite Neikes, but she was ultimately settled as one of the heroines instead.

Tisalia is proud, upright, and deeply guided by a sense of justice.

She believes in facing everything fairly and honorably.

When a crisis strikes, she can take command with the dignity of a battlefield general.

At the same time, she is kind-hearted and shows genuine concern for her attendants, Kay and Lorna.

She is not unintelligent, but she is poor at arithmetic and formulas.

She is also very ticklish.

Despite her brave image, she is actually easily frightened.

Because of this, she avoids the graveyard district whenever possible.

Since her attendants handle her daily needs, she cannot cook, clean, or prepare a campsite by herself.

Notably, she does not seem especially bothered by this.

Unlike Saphentite Neikes and Aragna Tarantella Arachnida, she does not drink alcohol.

When the three are at a tavern together, she drinks carrot juice instead.

In wartime, centaurs were famed as warriors.

In the modern age of peace, however, Tisalia's family found success in the transport business.

Even so, Tisalia longs to succeed as a centaur warrior rather than merely as a merchant heir.

Her goal is to rise through the coliseum and leave a permanent mark on history.

This dream sometimes puts her at odds with her father.

Although they usually get along well, he believes a strong man should become his son-in-law, while Tisalia prefers a different kind of partner.

Tisalia competed in the Lindworm Grand Arena as a Third Rank fighter.

Though naturally healthy and having never suffered any major illness or injury, she once fell into a slump for an unusual reason.

Out of a primitive fear, she refused to be shod with horseshoes.

As a result, her hooves grew too long and interfered with her performance.

Glenn Litbeit rather forcefully had horseshoes fitted for her, which restored her condition.

After that, she steadily improved her record and passed the promotion examination.

She was then elevated to the Second Rank, considered the level of a first-rate gladiator.

This marked a major step toward the fame she had always sought.

Tisalia prefers intelligent and cultured men over merely muscular ones.

For that reason, she develops feelings for Glenn Litbeit, who matches her ideal perfectly.

At one point, she considered stepping aside because she understood that Glenn cared most deeply for Saphentite Neikes.

Later, however, after a revision to the local marriage ordinance, she changed course.

Using the fact that Saphentite Neikes had given Glenn a marriage registration form before leaving, Tisalia turned the situation to her advantage.

She then volunteered to become his second wife.

Tisalia has a striking and elegant design that makes her immediately memorable.

Her upper body is that of a beautiful young woman, while her lower body is that of a black-coated horse.

Her blonde hair is gathered into a bun.

Her eyes are compared to turquoise, enhancing her refined and vivid look.

She is also described as having a larger chest than the average centaur.

Her name is thought to derive from Thessaly, the region in Greek mythology associated with centaurs.

Kay likely comes from Chiron, the wise centaur, while Lorna's name is likely connected to Artemis, the huntress goddess said to have been his teacher.
