Kazama

Yamada's senior. A man with a frivolous appearance and light-hearted behavior to match. Newly married. In episode 1, he invites the serious Yamada to "Basue," a place he has never been himself, but flees leaving Yamada behind after mistakenly thinking Akemi killed the mama. He only occasionally appears in Yamada's conversations afterward but reappears in episode 48. Learning that Yamada has become a regular at "Basue," he persistently bothers Yamada to visit, and even Akemi finds him annoying. Eventually, he becomes a regular at the shop and appears frequently in the story, independent of Yamada.

He is actually a middle school classmate of Morita (episode 68), and they had not met at all after graduating until they reunite at Basue. Due to their opposite personalities, Morita feels uncomfortable around him (even if he doesn't appear, his name sometimes comes up in Morita's episodes).
