Kakeru Keshi is an assistant who works mostly on erasing in the manga team G PRO. He often causes more trouble for Kakushi Gotō because he can’t always read the room and sometimes makes careless comments. Even when he tries his best to help, it’s usually in a strange way that doesn’t really help much. Sometimes his actions move the story forward, especially when other assistants are too polite to say something. Mistimed Efforts
Kakeru Keshi tries really hard to meet Kakushi Gotō’s expectations but in the wrong way.
For example, when told “readers can only hold their breath for so long,” he takes it literally and learns to hold his breath for three minutes.
When he’s told he can’t be a model for muscle characters, he takes a month off, builds a bodybuilder's body, and then returns.
Revealing Family Secrets

This leads to the revelation that Kakushi Gotō and Kairi are related by marriage.
Later Life

In the anime, after Kakushi Gotō regains his memory, Kakeru works as Rasuna Sumita’s assistant.
His role continues to bring out secrets and move the story forward, often because he is too awkward to realize when he should stop asking questions.
