The Scorched King

As one of the legendary Four Great Demon Beast Kings, Vordin holds dominion over the northern volcano, Mount Volt. His fearsome reputation has earned him the ominous title "Vordin the Scorched."

Mastermind of Borate

He is the true power lurking behind the Borate Kingdom, acting as its hidden mastermind. He has brought Princess Mirea and General Dorel under his complete control.

However, the current emperor of the kingdom remains completely oblivious to Vordin's manipulation.

Vordin takes the form of a gigantic dragon with unsettling, massive compound eyes. Four prominent, pillar-like crystals jut out from his back, giving him a truly unique silhouette.

The Battle with the True Hero

In a bygone era, Vordin fought and ultimately killed the legendary True Hero. The numerous scars that cover his entire body are a lasting testament to that fateful battle.

He has since preserved the True Hero's body and holds the key to the real story behind the Hero's Legend, as recorded in the Book of Toa.

The Grand Scheme

For reasons yet unknown, Vordin is scheming to bring about the complete revival of the True Hero and their legend. His ultimate goal is to discard the current world and turn back the clock to the Hero's era.

Covert Operations

To achieve his ambition, Vordin works from the shadows, manipulating events and people. He has turned General Dorel into a loyal servant by granting him demonic blood.

He also skillfully uses the Book of Toa as a tool to create new mages for his cause.
