There once lived a pilgrim who sought the meaning of Cookie life. When They found the answer—the truth that Cookies were baked to be eaten—at long last, the pilgrim rejoiced. "Only through becoming one can we reach salvation!" And so, this Cookie set out a mission to share Their epiphany with the whole world. Soon, They became the High Forkbearer of the St. Pastry Order. Having cast aside Their former name, Their very flavor, this Cookie took the name of Doughael. Doughael crossed the boundary between worlds, and, having witnessed a glimpse of the Complete Vision, returned carried on the wings of pure white to liberate Cookies from their sins. Through Doughael's severance from the lights of the world, the revelation of the Almighty shines all the brighter upon Their pupils—one that dictates complete devotion to the providence's messenger. And once all living souls are conjoined in the Whole Dough, it is finished.
Doughael has sickly pale dough and a slim, gracile body with a small waist and subtle hips. Their eyes are concealed by a ruffled white veil, and Their hair is a short, chin-length bob, parted at the middle with curls that turn inward toward the face. From the rear of Their hair extend two sets of wings, the upper pair larger than the lower. A floating black-gray halo is positioned behind the head, shaped like a highly decorated saucer with swirling patterns. Around it, four small fork symbols of the St. Pastry Order float at each cardinal direction.
Doughael wears a white gown designed to accentuate the body's shape, layered in three tiers resembling feathers and reaching down to the shins. They are barefoot and wear long white gloves that cover the arms entirely. Over the gown is a black vestment resembling clerical garments, with a back cape that transitions into a half-translucent fabric. The vestment is edged with sharp, metallic ornamental designs reminiscent of gothic architecture, with additional fork symbols attached at the two tail ends and clasp.
The Cookie carries a weapon combining the form of a candelabrum and a fork. The staff itself is metallic gray with a fork-shaped butt and holds three black candles tipped with violet-blue flames.
Doughael is a Cookie defined by unwavering devotion and a profound connection to faith and ritual. Even before Their transformation, They were deeply committed to guiding disciples and overseeing Their spiritual growth, approaching Their role with both care and a sense of sacred responsibility. This devotion is not merely procedural; it is rooted in awe and reverence for the divine. Encounters with extraordinary phenomena elicit genuine wonder and even vulnerability, revealing a manlike side beneath Their pious exterior. They are curious, reflective, and willing to place Themselves at risk to witness or understand higher truths, demonstrating that Their commitment is as personal as it is communal.
The experience of the Rift marks a profound turning point for Doughael, transforming Them from a mortal leader into a transcendent, seraphic figure. Post-Rift, They adopt plural pronouns, speaking as "We" or "Us," a reflection of both multiplicity and the elevated perspective granted by Their nearness to divinity. This transformation carries both symbolic and literal authority, positioning Doughael as a mediator between mortals and the divine, and granting Them insight into the Godly Will and the ultimate purpose of the Holy Avatar. Their presence commands immediate devotion, inspiring both awe and loyalty. Followers perceive Them as a prophet, and Doughael's words frame events (and even calamities) as expressions of sacred purpose.
Despite this transcendent authority, Doughael retains echoes of Their past vulnerability. They balance humility with a sense of mission-driven self-importance, presenting Themselves as a servant of the divine while simultaneously embracing the role of the necessary guide for salvation. Their fervor, while deeply rooted in devotion, carries an element of unpredictability; Their zeal can lead to perilous outcomes, and Their encounters with the divine are as overwhelming as They are illuminating.
At Their core, Doughael is a mystical and visionary figure, one who interprets signs, visions, and cosmic phenomena as direct communications of divine intent. Their focus on the Avatar, the Whole Dough, and the Promised Day demonstrates both obsession and clarity of purpose. Through Them, the mortal and the divine intersect, and Their influence shapes the beliefs, actions, and ultimate fate of Their followers. Doughael embodies a complex interplay of devotion, authority, awe, and danger: a being whose Cookie origins and post-Rift transformation coexist in tension, defining both their personality and the fervent devotion They inspire.
