Golnova thinks he is a top-class warrior, but this is not true at all.

He is actually much weaker and only has the skills of a second-rate or worse fighter.

He is very arrogant and full of himself.

Support from Kurt Rockhans

Golnova's performance was better than his true skill.

This was thanks to the perfect support from his teammate, Kurt Rockhans.

Kurt helped him with everything: making food, taking care of his gear, and filling up the magic in his sword.

Even with all this help, Golnova never noticed it because he cannot see what is happening around him.

The Downfall After Kurt Was Gone

Golnova thought Kurt was useless and forced him to leave the group.

Without Kurt’s support, everything in Golnova's life fell apart.

He started to fail his jobs.

He also could not enjoy his meals anymore.
