Balsa

He is a count of the Kingdom of Belfast and serves as a close aide to the king. However, he harbors dissatisfaction with the king, who is advancing an alliance with the Kingdom of Mismede. He is the mastermind who secretly plotted the assassination of Sushie Ernea Ortlinde and holds prejudices against beastmen. To obstruct the alliance, he attempted to poison the king and frame Origa Strand, the ambassador from the Kingdom of Mismede, for the crime. However, due to Touya Mochizuki's actions, his scheme failed and his wrongdoing was exposed. Ultimately, he attempted to flee, but was tripped and captured by Touya Mochizuki's magic, "Slip."
