Natsuki Shinomiya is a gentle and kind young man belonging to Class A. His hobby is cooking, with a particular fondness for tea and cookies, while he dislikes junk food. Although he is not aware of his own cooking skills, his dishes have a rather unique taste. In music, he originally played the violin, but for specific reasons, he switched to the viola. His musical talent is exceptionally high and naturally captivates those around him.
He has a weakness for small and cute things, and has a habit of hugging them whenever he sees them. While he often displays an airheaded or absent-minded side, he demonstrates his extraordinary talent in the world of music. However, because of his talent, he sometimes puts pressure on himself, making him very emotionally sensitive and easily hurt.
He possesses an alternate personality named "Satsuki." This occurs when he removes his glasses, causing his vision to become poor and his mental state unstable, triggering the emergence of Satsuki. Satsuki exists to protect Natsuki, acting as his guardian from anything that might harm him.
Natsuki lives in a dormitory together with Shou Kurusu, who is his roommate. They share a friendly rivalry, encouraging and challenging each other as they go about their daily lives.
