On the way to the Schwer Mountains, Frieren and his group encountered an elf man at a refuge hut in the Decke region. It was the first time in 300 years that he had met someone of his own kind (Frieren). Fern witnessed him doing squats half-naked inside the hut and mistook him for a pervert. Later, he warmed up Stark, who was suffering from hypothermia due to a blizzard, and spent half a year with Frieren's group to survive the long winter. He shared his life story of worshipping the goddess with Frieren and told him that he does not believe this to be their final farewell before leaving.

His current occupation is a martial arts monk (Monk). It is suggested that he was a hero who accomplished the great feat of saving the world a long time ago, and a statue has also been erected in his honor. Additionally, he encountered Übel being harassed by thieves near Oister and chased them away (to prevent them from being killed by Übel).
