Nemu Fujimi is a classmate of Mahiro Oyama and first appears in chapter 21 of the manga (episode 6 of the anime).

She sits in front of Mahiro in class and is easily recognized by her outward‑flaring blue hair and perpetually sleepy demeanor.

She is almost always shown asleep, no matter the situation.

Despite having very few spoken lines in the original manga, she quickly became popular with readers.

Here, it is revealed that Nemu calls Nodoka “Nodo‑chan,” and Nemu also speaks outside of the game for the first time in a non-gaming context.

As a bonus item for volume 8 of the collected edition, she is the only character chosen from outside the seven main characters to appear on a special coaster.
