Alan

As a child Alan has messy, spiky hair and large eyes. He wears a buttoned-up collared shirt with rolled-up sleeves, along with a pair of suspenders that have bold, thick straps. His pants appear loose-fitting, and he has a small, rounded shoes. When he is older his hair is the same but the rest of his appearance is unknown.

As a child, Alan was very eccentric, always maintaining a cheerful demeanor and doing things he wasn’t supposed to, such as wandering off into polluted zones. He was also very ambitious, aspiring to one day become a Giver. However, later in life, he became much more serious and gloomy after failing to achieve his dream.

Alan wandered out in a polluted zone to find a vital instrument and picked up a hammer. However, he got chased by a trash beast and due to not bringing a proper mask he nearly died before being saved by the cleaners. When he made it back to town he met up with his friends and ate a piece of toxic snow, scoffing that it was harmless as he hadn't died from eating one flake. He showed his friends the hammer and declared that he was gonna join the cleaners as a Giver.

At some point he cut off contact with his friends and gave up on his dream. He became depressed, his room filled with trash, and when Follo came to visit him he told him to go away and take the hammer with him.

Hammer

Alan found the Hammer at a polluted zone and aspired to become a giver and join the Cleaners after being rescued by them But he failed to turn the hammer into a Vital Instrument and gave it to Follo instead.

Follo

Follo often followed Alan around, wanting to be his rival, however, Alan felt pressured by this and like he would never measure up to Follo's expectations. He cut contact with him and when Follo sought him out he spoke to him cruelly and told him to go away.
