Millia keeps her appearance distinctive by always wearing a nun's habit, which serves to hide her broken demon horn. Her habit remains even after losing her horn, as Sumeragi once told her that "she is Millia because she wears the habit." Initially, Millia appeared as a young woman with a voluptuous figure, but currently, her looks are not fully described beyond her iconic habit.

Millia stands out due to her combative spirit and unapologetic love for fighting. She proudly calls herself a battle maniac and answers with honesty when asked why she fights: "because I want to fight." She refuses to harm indiscriminately, preferring worthy opponents from strong, invading nations. At times, her straightforwardness makes her seem airheaded, but her deep knowledge and cunning show otherwise. Millia's struggle with her demon and human sides makes her reflective, often pondering her place in the world.

Originally a mid-tier demon created by Nobrega, Millia’s story began with resentment at not having a unique race name. She adopted "Kami-Oni" (Hair Demon) as her moniker, despite it not being officially recognized. Once ridiculed and named "Henki" (Weird Demon) due to her odd way of thinking, she killed an ally and lost half her horn, drastically weakening her. Afterwards, she was pursued by other demons but found refuge with Sumeragi in the Bremen Peter Church. There, she learned literacy, magic, and general knowledge, always remaining grateful to Sumeragi. Millia’s time at the church was marred by tragedy when her demonic nature led to the rejection of a close human friend after Millia killed an abusive benefactor to save her.

Millia excels in support magic and has notably revived Kiki, the Tree Demon, from a long seal. Even after her powers were halved by her broken horn, she could match Frau in combat. After a battle with Sally, she carries a permanent wound on her side. Millia is skilled at manipulating angelic energy—a remarkable trait for a denizen of the underworld—thanks to Sumeragi's teachings. She fights in martial arts tournaments, using her immense strength to knock out human opponents even after losing her horn.

Millia’s complicated relationship with Nobrega, her creator, is highlighted by her continually shifting modes of address, finally settling on "Uncle." She deeply admires Sumeragi, who became her mentor and protector during her time at the Peter Church. Millia’s bond with other characters is colored by her struggle to connect due to her demon origins and the trauma of prior rejections. Millia was created by Demon of Divine Law Nobrega as a mid-class demon. Early in her life, she was bullied for her peculiar thoughts and given a derogatory nickname. After killing a high-ranking demon and breaking her horn—halving her power—she experienced deep shame and spent years on the run.

Sanctuary at the Peter Church

Sumeragi took Millia in and sheltered her at the Bremen Peter Church, along with Ginkyoki. There, Millia received a broad education and found temporary peace. However, her demonic identity was revealed after she killed a benefactor in defense of a close nun friend, only to be rejected by the very friend she saved.

Mastery and Major Battles

Millia developed proficiency in support magic and revived Kiki, the Tree Demon. She engaged in significant battles, including a fight with Frau where she held her own, and against Sally who left her with a scar that does not heal.

Loss, Amnesia, and New Beginnings

Following a bout of amnesia and an assassination attempt by Chūki, Millia regains her memories. To survive, she tears out her remaining horn and begs Kibitsu Mikoto for her life, eventually joining her group. Millia works as a dishwasher to cover her food expenses and enters a martial arts tournament as a monk, using her physical prowess to advance even after losing her horn.

Sumeragi and Lingering Feelings

In Legedia, Millia tries to gain Sumeragi's favor again by siding with him when he becomes an enemy of Crow. However, Sumeragi remains distant, and it is revealed via Domenica's mind-reading abilities that Sumeragi's feelings for Millia are complex—rooted in memories of someone else.
