He serves as Mist's right-hand man and oversees the Mahtat branch, possessing exceptional abilities. However, in reality, he grew up as an orphan of the labyrinth, and in the past, he and Raust acted as decoys and were treated roughly.

Later, he was rescued by Mist and became involved in Mist's schemes as the assistant to the branch chief. However, during an incident, he was stabbed in the abdomen by an evil dragon and taken hostage, which led to Mist being overtaken.

Although his injuries healed, he was no longer able to fulfill his duties. As a result, Amherst was promoted to branch chief.
