A senior vassal of the Kamakura shogunate. He warned his daughter, Kiyoko, who was trying to marry Tokiyuki, that even if he succeeded the shogunate, he would only become a puppet ruler like Takatoki. He committed suicide during the fall of the Kamakura shogunate.
