Kirika Kokuryū
黑龙桐姬 黒龍 キリカ(こくりゅう キリカ) / 桐姫(きりひめ)
Gender:Female
The daughter of the president of Dragon Bank, a symbolic figure known by those around her as "Kirihime." She has been a director at the company since the young age of 20, though many think it's due to connections. While the exact ages and time progression of the characters aren't specified in the work, Inagaki imagined her at about 23 when she first appeared (in the drama version, her age is set at 24). She possesses beauty reminiscent of a model and is skilled in Mandarin and French, but her personality is arrogant and condescending, always interacting with others in a businesslike manner. Her preferred type is 'a capable person,' thus she dismisses conversations with minor employees as "a waste of time" and ruthlessly cuts off anyone who doesn't benefit her or Dragon Bank. She has a keen eye for people and a possessive streak inherited from her father (Kokuryū Kazuma, introduced later)—an excitement for the process of acquisition described as 'selfishness.' She attempts to bring Haru and Gaku under her control. She agrees to their proposal by preparing 100 million yen and demands a 51 percent shareholding in return (a controlling stake), but Haru uses her own words against her. Later, she introduces Hebishima, who is sidelined within the company, to Gaku, encouraging his transfer to Trillion Game and Gogpro to assist in their business expansion. Hebishima's transfer is the starting point of her conflict with Kazuma Kokuryū, and she harbors an intense dislike for being treated merely as a pawn by her father. After Haru rejects both the takeover offer from Kazuma Kokuryū and the marriage proposal with Kirihime, she buys out 'D-REX Japan' to crush Trillion Game and becomes its president. With the nearly limitless resources of the Kokuryū family and the imperial knowledge inherited from her father as her weapons, she adeptly takes over content from key terrestrial TV stations in metropolitan Tokyo. Furthermore, this character wears different dresses each time she appears. A real stylist (Aizawa Itsuki) was used to dress mannequins with actual clothes and accessories to depict her outfits.
