Dola's second son, 25 years old. He has a small mustache. Among the Dola family, he was the first to fall for Sheeta. He loves mince meat pies, and in the novel version, he was drinking tea with his younger brother, Anli. When searching Pazu's house, he is called by name by his subordinate, Ku. His manner of speaking can be somewhat overbearing, but he often displays comical behavior and expressions. He always tries to look cool. He met Pazu in front of his house, making him the first of the three brothers Pazu encountered. Additionally, he had the most interactions with both Pazu and Sheeta (among the three brothers, Lui was the only one who conversed with both). According to Hayao Miyazaki, "Lui is a child Dola had with a handsome man from around Spain, but when that face falls apart, it turns into that (laughs). That's the kind of silly thing I thought about when drawing him."
