The protagonist of this work. She is the "Chi-mama" (the second-in-command "mama" at a snack bar) at Snack Basue, located in a remote part of Hokkaido. She looks quite beautiful when silent, but her eccentric actions and outlandish remarks often lead to daily retorts from the regular customers. She places an unusually high value on money and violence. Although she seems carefree and without worries, her luck with men is desperately poor (attracted to the wrong kind of men), and in her private life, she is burdened with a substantial debt left by her ex-boyfriend from two relationships ago. She primarily plays the fool, but often acts as the straight man as well.
