As of Volume 6, he is appointed as the assistant supervisor of the Brumund Kingdom's Information Bureau. In Volume 1, to confirm the disappearance of Veldora, he dispatches Ellen and others to the Jura Forest and visits the Jura Tempest Federation to see for himself the town created by monsters, being cautious of Rimuru. During his stay, he comes to trust Rimuru, forming a personal relationship of trust, which later develops into a relationship between nations. In Volume 3, he persuades the king to form a friendship with the Jura Tempest Federation, and in Volume 4, he mediates the establishment of diplomatic relations with the federation. In the Volume 6 Human-Monster Conference, he is entrusted with full authority of the nation, aims to participate in the Human-Monster Co-prosperity Sphere of Brumund, agrees to the establishment of a new nation with Youm as king, and takes on the role of winning over the nobles of the associated Farmus Kingdom.
