Izumi Ishida

Ryugen Ishida's mother and Uryuu's grandmother. As a Quincy, her powers were quite weak, almost like a normal human. She had a hysterical and fierce personality. She secretly disliked Masaki, who was engaged to her son Ryugen, and wanted to break off their engagement. Her real name remained unknown until the end of the original work but was revealed in the anime version.
