Kuchinawa
口绊 クチナワ
Nadeko called it "Mr. Kuchinawa." It is a god enshrined at the North White Snake Shrine, taking the form of a white snake. It was revived by the energy accumulated at the shrine due to Shinobu's visit, but it became critically weakened after using up that energy in "Mayoi Jiangshi." It demanded Nadeko to search for its divine body (corpse) as atonement for the massacre of snakes. Normally, it coils around Nadeko's right arm as a scrunchie. Its personality and tone are quite violent and rough, laughing with a "shasha," and often menacingly saying "Aaahn?" It has the ability to nullify all barriers. Nadeko shares knowledge with it, and it provides retorts to Nadeko's erratic actions in the story on behalf of Koyomi. Originally, it was a delusion of Nadeko, who was jealous of Hitagi and prayed to a god, believing she was "hearing the voice of a god."
