Saori-chan

沙织 沙織ちゃん（さおりちゃん）

A friend of Nobara Kugisaki. Appears in the story. According to Kugisaki, she was a girl "as cute as a doll and as kind as a saint." When Kugisaki was in the first grade of elementary school, she moved from Tokyo to the rural village where Kugisaki was born. However, she was oppressed in the village due to the local children's paranoid belief that she was looking down on them as country folk. Kugisaki and she had a close relationship, where she promised to make her homemade sweets. Even after entering a technical college, Kugisaki still holds her dear as a source of emotional support.
