The younger brother of Jōkō. Serving the Ogasawara family, he takes Tokiyuki to Sadamune as a messenger for the return of offerings to the Suwa Grand Shrine. When Sadamune's plan to reveal Tokiyuki's true identity fails, he himself attacks Tokiyuki on his way back but is thrown by Ayako. When he reappears during the Nakasendai Rebellion, he still has bandages on his face, possibly from the injuries sustained during that time.
