A monk who lived in a village near the Alto Forest. He was the oldest in the party except for Frieren, and although he was a monk who loved worldly things such as alcohol, tobacco, gambling, and older sisters, he had the skill to instantly cure an incurable poison that was transmitted by a snake and caused the brain to melt and die within a few hours, which Stark had contracted. He was stuck in a bottomless swamp and couldn't move until he was rescued by Frieren. He had aspired to become an adventurer since his boyhood, but remained in the village out of consideration for his brother even after his best friend "Warrior Gorilla" had set off on a journey 10 years ago, waiting for his friend's return. After learning the true intention, he was scolded by his brother and joined Frieren's companions. During the journey, he sometimes mediated between Fern and Stark as an adult, wondering if the two should no longer be together. When he learns that the friend he was looking for has headed to the trading city of Tuer, he leaves the group to chase after him. Later, when Frieren was asked by Methode if he would accompany them as a monk, he declined, saying, "I want to keep the monk's seat in this party empty (for Sein)."
