Vice Chief of the Second Squad of the Guard → Deputy Steward of the Kanto Government. A man with distinctive features, characterized by black eyes and long ears. He humbly refers to himself as "weak" due to his family's history as court nobles up until his grandfather's generation, and he is a cautious person who always has several retainers at the ready. Coming from a family that made a living through scholarship, he possesses the most academic knowledge among the guards and is tasked with "creating" the strongest warrior in a secret experimental facility. He is the administrator of the Ashikaga School. Although he tried to distance himself from political strife to indulge in his hobbies, he was entrusted by the head of the family to unify the Kanto Ashikaga faction and pledged to support Naoyoshi.
