As a pharmacist with the aptitudes of an alchemist, he can currently use up to second-tier magic and employs concocted chemicals like adhesives in combat. He seeks out Momon for information, the holder of a red potion, and joins "Darkness" on the journey to Carne Village upon request to exterminate demi-humans. Immediately upon returning, he is targeted for his talent and kidnapped by Clementine and Khajit but is rescued by Momon, who made a contract with Lizzie. He realizes that Ainz and Momon are the same person but has no intention of exploiting this knowledge, showing a slight envy but mainly immense respect for Ainz's broad-mindedness. Ainz also acknowledges his high utility and holds a favorable impression of his earnest admiration. After relocating to Carne Village, he and his grandmother research new potion production using materials provided by Ainz and are gradually seeing results. By overcoming several crises that befell Carne Village together, he becomes closer to Enri, eventually marrying her and starting a new life together. After the wedding, with Ainz's permission, he shifts from potion development to storage and assists Enri in her role as the village chief.
