She holds the title "Guardian of Children" and has a soft spot for kids, showing a sweet side to them. She also runs an orphanage in Alessa. She employs a combat style that combines the use of a whip and storm magic. Although she is an individual, she possesses "strategic weapon-grade" capabilities, serving as a deterrent against other nations that target Alessa for its rich labyrinth resources. She cannot leave Alessa unless it is for a guild-designated quest. She has taken a great liking to Fran, striving to have her call her "Mama," and has taught her the basics of fighting and skills. While impressed by Fran's abilities, which nearly rival her own despite her young age, she has almost completely dominated in their mock battles. During a dungeon exploration, she revealed her true identity to save Fran in a critical situation. She is one of the few who knows that the Teacher is an Intelligence Weapon. Fran's parents (father Kinan, voiced by Shinyuki, and mother Flamea, voiced by Suzuko Mimori) are from Amanda's orphanage, and they left the orphanage seeking a way for their Black Cat tribe to evolve. Fran met Amanda as a baby when her parents took her there. In the parallel world of Another Wish, she is Princess Amanda, engaged to the fourth prince, Hamil, whose true nature is villainous.
