Ms. Kobayashi's mother. Like her daughter, she wears glasses. In the original work, she only appears in flashbacks, and in episode 11 of the first season of the anime, she appears only as a voice during a phone conversation with Kobayashi. Additionally, in the epilogue of episode 13 (the final episode) of the first season, Kobayashi returns home with Tohru and Kanna.
