A guest dressed as a hero from Dragon Quest III appears from episode 10. Initially thought by Akemi to be a cringey cosplayer, it turns out that "Basue" was actually linked to another world. Since their first appearance, they often reappear, exhibiting behaviors and thoughts based on an RPG-style world view, which are out of sync with the real world.
